i'm blogging @ jurong west home

Been rather encouraged by what has happened during the week
overall weather for the day is hot and sunny!

though small storm just broke out at home ... hmmm about 2 hours ago
but I am glad that a big wind just blew it off just after 10 mins...
phew *_*
Currently, the allied forces have returned to its new base
and the other nations got a chance to catch a break
which is good
so that everyone can learn to relax a bit
anyway...since now not so much big storm
UN can take a break too
haaaa enjoyed 2 hours of peace and quiet on sat afternoon
I am so glad for the quietness of my own house!
for once finally!
and stayed at home whole day!
I've been staying at home whole day on sat for the past 1 month
and I started to love not going out
cool *_*
just thinking of the hot sun and the big crowd :(

my sickness is getting bit better
finally gobble down two bowls of chinese med
think prob chinese med really works better!?
someone sms me and "nag" me again
wondering is this going to happen every weekend
arghhhhhhh :(
sometimes I feel why should I "report" to this person about what has been happening to me?!
really dun feel like replying back

sunday sermon spoke a lot to me
the nite before I prayed on sat
and it has been better
topic is on finish well
last sermon on nehemiah
Was reminded not to depend on feelings/emotions rather on God's truth and promises
to grow deep in his words (roots) rather than growing on branches

"for those who hears my words and does them will be like a wise man who builds his house on the rock"

There is surely opposition wherever I go
Am I willing to serve on my own terms or on God's term?
Am I wiling
To have a willing spirit and praying spirit
I am still not at it
To come out of my comfort zone
but was reminded when we do God's work, he will help us and strengthen us through the storm
it is not a storm free world, but aim to be storm proof
haaaaaa =) i like this term!
my take away is I still have not come out of my own comfort zone!

Brought the kids to sentosa
thank God for the sunny weather and fun
and thank the kids for their enthusiasium and participation
You can see all of them, really all of them making effort and work together to build sandcastle
kinda heart warming i guess
and I secretly laughed and smiled at them
of course not letting them see me la!
wat's more impt is to have fun

it's a choice that you make
